Convent Centre organizes an Intensive Italian Language & Culture Summer School in Amantea, South of Italy
Our Italian Language and Culture School is a combination of learning, traveling, and discovering Italian sights, sounds, and tastes! In this immersive, local experience, you can learn Italian in our classrooms and practice in the streets, restaurants, and coffee shops, as well as through conversations with locals. Learn Italian in Italy is a project by Convent Centre.

Italian Language Courses at All Levels
The Convent Centre of Language and Art offers Italian language courses at all levels from beginner to advance and exam preparation courses for the PLIDA certification of the Società Dante Alighieri.
Students can be hosted in our guest house and choose among a variety of activities and excursions in our amazing land. We are located in a sunny small town by the sea in Amantea (CS), South of Italy – a place where tradition and innovation meet.
We love to exchange knowledge and tips with our students, welcome and help them in discovering our beautiful language and culture.

Convent Centre hires highly qualified teachers of Italian to foreigners. Our teachers are native Italian speakers with experience in teaching Italian as a second language.

Convent Centre is a PLIDA certified exam centre. At Convent Centre, you can obtain Italian language certification for all levels (A1 – C2).

Intensive Italian Course: A Week of Language, Culture and Sharing
From 15 to 19 September, the Convent Centre hosted an intensive Italian course for a group of German students during their stay in Amantea. Every morning they studied the Italian language with dedication, while the afternoons were devoted to cultural activities: discovering local traditions, exploring the territory, and learning the art of ceramics. 🎨
A special thank you goes to Patrizia for the excellent organization of the course. The Convent Centre was proud to support the initiative by providing its spaces and creating a welcoming environment for study and exchange.
The week was more than just a study program – it was a true cultural journey. The students not only improved their Italian, but also experienced Italy firsthand, embracing traditions, community, and authentic intercultural exchange. 💙✨
