INTERNSHIP ITALY

INTERNSHIPS & ERASMUS+ TRAINEESHIPS

Who we are

Convent Centre offers the possibility to organize your internship in Italy. We are an association situated in Amantea, Calabria (Southern Italy) that provides language courses for all ages. We prepare students for international qualifications such as Cambridge Assessment English, DELE for Spanish, PLIDA for the Italian language.
We are accredited for hosting European Volunteers for ESC – European Solidarity Corps.
Our mission is to empower linguistic competencies and multilingualism in our local community and abroad.

What you can do during your Internship in Italy

At Convent Centre you can learn how to manage an association from the organization and administrative point of you. You can also practice your teaching skills using formal and non-formal methodologies and doing job-shadowing with our experienced teachers. You can also learn how to write an EU project proposal and be the coordinator for our European volunteers.
If all these tasks sound interesting to you, please feel free to contact us.

We would love to have new energies at Convent Centre, develop new projects and embrace new ideas!

Our internships begin at various times throughout the year. You will grow personally and professionally while helping us to boost Multilingualism in our local community.
Our internships are unpaid. However, the intern will not displace regular employees but will work under the close supervision of our existing staff.
In addition, we accept students through the Erasmus+ program and Erasmus Young Entrepreneur.
Internships have a minimum of 1 month and the duration will depend on your needs and ours.
You don’t need to speak Italian, but good English or Spanish will help.

The living cost in Amantea is very low (a room can go from €300 and with €100 you can eat for a month) and the experience you will acquire is really valuable.

Erasmus+ supports traineeships (work placements, internships, etc) abroad for students currently enrolled in higher education institutions in Programme countries at Bachelor and Master level as well as for doctoral candidates. These opportunities are also open to recent graduates.
